The Rehabilitation Unit Technician will serve as support personnel to the Rehabilitation Unit Director, Assistant Director of Nursing, Therapy Staff, and Nursing staff. The Rehabilitation Unit Technician performs designated tasks related to the management of the patients and the operation of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Responsibilities include: Provides patient care and support activities under the direct and on-site supervision of the Unit Therapy and Nursing Team; Assists in maintaining Equipment and the cleanliness of the patient care areas; Facilitates reciprocal communication among the Unit staff and the patient/family; Performs clerical duties; Other duties will be performed as required/requested. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Therapy Aide experience required; minimum 2 years experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit setting desired. BLS required.
