  Complete Description

Operates telephone switchboard and receives incoming calls. Uses overhead paging, two-way radios, and other communications equipment to relay messages and transfer information. Acts as an information source for callers and drop-by visitors.  Announces and relays information concerning fire alarms, disasters, code blue, and other emergencies.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. No specific diploma/degree required but must have acquired knowledge/skills to use correct grammar and spelling. Computer experience pref'd.

Previous switchboard experience and clerical experience desirable. Customer Service skills are req'd. Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.

Must be able to travel between campuses.
