The Director has the overall responsibility for development, implementation and evaluation of the Welcome Baby program.  The Project Director must work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team that that includes the hospital, other Welcome Baby sites in the community, Best Start Community Partnership, First 5 LA, and Home Visitation Oversight Entity.

Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Public Health, Public Administration or Early Childhood Development with experience in program implementation, home visitation programs, and knowledge of maternal child health. Experience with social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Strong management skills.  Excellent customer service skills required.
