Responsible for the appropriate control and collection of commercial insurance inpatient and outpatient accounts in the high dollar range. Acts as a team lead within the department. Stays apprised of changes within the industry in regards to billing and collections. Acts as a resource for the business office.
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Knowledge of hospital contract terminology and reimbursement methodology. Hospital billing and claim knowledge/experience.
